Lafarge Precast successfully secured a contract to supply architectural precast cladding for the NIKE World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. This achievement was the result of targeting new opportunities in the Pacific Northwest and reconnecting with general contractors like Hoffman Construction.
Lafarge submitted its initial proposal, followed by updates and samples to meet the project’s specific architectural aesthetic. The team met with Hoffman and NIKE to discuss the project in detail, showcasing its expertise in upscale architectural precast cladding.
Precast cladding refers to solid concrete panels manufactured off-site and used as the building’s exterior. These panels can be customized for texture, color, and design while providing structural strength, durability,, and reduced maintenance. The flexibility of precast cladding makes it a preferred choice for enhancing both the appearance and performance of buildings.
Lafarge successfully met Nike’s rigorous architectural expectations and was contracted to supply precast column covers, incorporating a black concrete pigment with an abrasive blast finish that matched the architectural control samples.
