Prefab Insulated Walls Alberta
Lafarge prefab insulated walls also called "Insulcore" wall panels are ideal for warehouses, manufacturing plants, schools, retail, office buildings, recreational facilities, hotels/motels, retirement residences, and virtually any other architectural application that calls for strength, beauty and fast- track construction. The prefab insulated walls being produced in the above video were produced here at our Lafarge Precast Edmonton facility, and our site crews have successfully installed prefab insulated walls all over Edmonton, Alberta and western Canada.
Our general prefab insulated wall production process comprises of a combination of pre-stressed strand, 75mm base layer of concrete. a layer of insulation and a 75mm top layer of concrete. The panels are poured on day one and stripped and stored out outside on day two, the entire production process is thoroughly inspected by our quality control team to ensure that all external precast walls are produced in accordance with the specific engineered drawings for that project. In accordance with our CPCI certification all concrete is tested prior to pouring to ensure it meets the project criteria, similarly prior to stripping and shipping the cylinders taken during pre pour testing process are tested to ensure they meet the appropriate level of strength.
