Precast concrete shear walls are the structural solution of choice for many office buildings, high-rise residential, institutional facilities and mixed use retail projects of all types. A key reason is that precast concrete shear walls provide structural stability by resisting wind and seismic loads. Shear walls can, at the same time, also function as demising walls between suites in multi-family residential structures providing the required fire separation.
