Lafarge precast concrete Hollowcore slabs are produced at our Edmonton facility, for the majority of projects the standard production process comprises of a combination of pre-stressed strand combined in the with the 8", 10" or 12" finished high strength concrete.

The slabs are poured on day one and stripped and stored out outside on day two, the entire production process is thoroughly inspected by our quality control team to ensure that every panel is produced in accordance with the specific engineered drawings for that project.

Precast concrete Hollowcore Plank  systems come in a variety of thicknesses and can be engineered to take into account required jobsite blockouts and connections, our design team can set out the parameters to take into account all of your specific project needs:

In accordance with our CPCI certification all concrete used is tested prior to pouring to ensure it meets  the project criteria, similarly prior to stripping and shipping the cylinders taken during pre pour testing process are tested to ensure they meet the appropriate level of strength.
