Raven River Bridges

Raven River Bridges consisted of 24 Type SLC700 AT Standard Bridge girders supplied for a three span bridge west of Innisfail, Alberta.

Supplying to Volker Stevin, this installation of this bridge structure was completed in just one single day.

By leveraging the advantages of precast concrete, Volker Stevin scheduled the delivery of all 24 girders for installation on the same day. This approach maximizes efficiency, as precast elements are cast in advance, reducing on-site time and allowing for quicker project timelines. The girders for this bridge ranged in length from 14M to 18M.

Benefits of Using Precast:

  1. Speed of Construction: Precast components are fabricated ahead of installation, allowing for the finished road surface to be applied directly to the girders.
