Lafarge Precast Edmonton
LOWE'S Sherwood Park
Live Project Update: July 10th 2016
Project Overview:
Lafarge Precast Edmonton is will be part of the construction team on the new Lowe's Home Improvement and hardware store in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
Lafarge Precast Edmonton will be fabricating the precast elements for this new store and our experienced installation crews will be installing the exterior walls of this building. The exterior walls will be "Insulcore" which is an insulated concrete wall panel that provides a finished wall system and building envelope. The precast insulated wall panels will also be integrally colored to match the Lowe's brand color and other areas will receive brick form textured finishes.
Lafarge Precast Edmonton has the expertise to meet the challenges found in any construction project. With more than 40 years of precast experience, no project is too big, too small, too specialized or too challenging for Lafarge.

Stage 1, Production of the individual Architectural precast Insulcore wall panels:
Due to the speed at which our crews install our precast concrete warehouse structures, the production of our individual precast concrete components at our Edmonton facility must start well in advance of our commencement on site. Our project management team works hand in hand with the main contractor to schedule the production of every precast concrete component ahead of time, ensuring that the entire warehouse is ready for shipping as soon as the individual sections are required on the job site.

The Final Completed Project Images :
One of the primary reasons precast concrete was selected for this project because of cost and speed of construction. All Precast concrete components were made off site as shown above and delivered to the project on a "just in time" basis, all shipments were efficiently and conveniently coordinated between Lafarge and the main contractor to ensure the tight project timelines were met.
